THIS ITEM IS A MEAKIN IRONSTONE SUGAR JAR. THE WORD "DROIT" IS IN THE CREST UNDER THE HORSE, ON THE RIGHT SIDE. THERE IS A CIRCULAR STAMP IN THE GLASS, IN THE CENTER OF THE BOTTOM OF THE JAR, WHICH I BELIEVE SAYS "MEAKIN & Co., OAKRIDGE", BUT THIS IS VERY HARD TO READ AS THE LETTERS WERE IMPRESSED INTO THE GLASS BEFORE IT WAS GLAZED. ...
