This item is a 14K YELLOW GOLD RING, which features a green Peridot gem in the middle of the heart. The side of the ring band has 3 purple amethysts gems on each side of the heart. The size of the ring is 6.5. A gift box will be included with this item.

Peridot, actually pronounced pear-a-doe, is a gem quality form of olivine, which is clear. Peridot is bright yellow green in color and is one of the few gemstones that only occur in one color. However, the amount of green varies based on the amount of iron contained within the crystal structures. Even though olivine is an abundant mineral, gem quality peridot is rare, but found widespread on every continent. Olivine crystallizes from magma, which is rich in magnesium and low in silica, and is one of the Earth’s most common minerals. Peridot is the birthstone for August and according to legend brings success, peace, and fortune.
